Newtown Veterinary Center is here for your pet and you if an emergency strikes. With skilled & knowledgeable veterinarians the entire staff at NVC is prepared, and trained, to handle emergencies of all types.
If you are a NVC client and have a pet emergency please call us, if possible, before you come in. That will allow us to determine the severity of the situation and have a treatment room ready when you get here. In cases where it is not possible to call ahead please park in front of the building and come in with your pet. If your pet is in serious condition and unable to move we will come out to your car and gently bring the pet into a treatment room.
If your emergency occurs after our normal office hours we ask that you call Shoreline Emergency Hospital in Shelton. Their number is 203 929 8600.
We hope you will never need our emergency service, but if you do we are here and committed to providing exceptional and compassionate veterinary care to your pet.
